With the European Parliament elections having taken place in May 2019 and a new European Commission taking office the later same year, European policymakers were presented with an opportunity to shape the goals and priorities of the European Union for the next five years. In light of this, Transforming Breast Cancer Together issued an EU elections manifesto calling upon policymakers to improve breast cancer care for patients in an area of high unmet need and reduce the societal impact of breast cancer by elevating it as a health policy priority.
